How To Do A Postmortem: Learning from Failure, Disappointment, and Fury

We do not become exceptional by believing we are exceptional, but by understanding the ways in which we are not. A postmortem, held shortly after the completion of every project, helps examine what did and didn’t work well in an attempt to grow our understanding, capabilities, and processes for the next adventure. This curriculum will help you celebrate what was done well and the positive results enjoyed; analyze what went wrong, how, and why; give voice to frustrations, in a healthy environment, so they can be addressed and not allowed to fester; and cultivate guard rails and guidelines to keep future projects healthy, effective, and enjoyable.
