Good Works: Doing Good Works Because Good Works

We do good works because good works. Like Jesus, we understand that our identity is grounded in service. We are a philanthropic people, giving generously of ourselves. Our generosity should certainly not be limited to the Church, but extend outwards from the Church into the world.

This curriculum will help you understand the primary avenues of missionary endeavor; reinforce that Christians should be people who not only bring good news, but embody that good news in practical ways consistent with our history and tradition; discover opportunities for community service and engagement; and cultivate world-healing action as an essential, regular, part of our rhythms.
