Genogram (Simplified): Understanding Family Patterns

Description

A genogram is a family tree that analyzes relationships, interactions, and problems from the perspective of one individual. Participants will chart their family tree, cataloguing strengths and weaknesses in and among the web of relationships into which they were born/raised. This curriculum will help you recognize family patterns and work to either strengthen healthy patterns or mitigate harmful patterns; appreciate your own role within your family, and the legacy you carry forward into the generations that follow; and cultivate a life that rises above the life into which you were born, and provides opportunities for others to flourish.
