The Assimilation Bullseye: Moving People Deeper into the Life of the Church

While discipleship is clearly more than giving money, getting involved, and inviting others to the local church…it is rarely LESS than these simple activities. Consequently, it is helpful to conceptualize our people upon a bullseye for church involvement. Those in the innermost ring are most involved, and therefore most likely to benefit from what we as a church provide. So, one significant component of building a healthy church is moving people further and further inward.

This curriculum will help you arrive upon a basic understanding of church involvement; develop a strategy for moving people closer to the bullseye; and identify critical concerns that may be keeping people “on the outside.”
