Incarnational Evangelism: Being With, In, and Among the People God has Called us to Love

One of the most significant shifts in 21st century missiology has been the awareness that our evangelistic efforts have often deteriorated into unhelpful colonialism. We intended to bring good news, but often just forced ourselves instead. Learning how to incarnate in another culture is critical to proclaiming a gospel that makes sense to the recipients, is compelling, and is also TRUE.

This curriculum will help you acknowledge our unhelpful tendencies toward an us/them (saint/sinner, good/bad, wise/fool) dichotomy; learn the basics of incarnation evangelism, with a mind toward being with the people God has called us to love; and strategize for how best to foster incarnational evangelism in our churches, across all levels of education and involvement.
