What do we imagine Worship Leaders are meant to say in between, during, before, and after the songs in our liturgy?

It is best practice to craft your exhortations in advance and in conjunction with the narrative of that day’s liturgy. A well-timed and articulate exhortation can energize and inspire the congregation, whereas any number of verbal blunders can distract, confuse, and even antagonize parishioners.

This curriculum will help you learn how to craft exhortations; learn when to exhort; and become so comfortable with exhortation, that this ability grows in meaning, poignancy, and inspiration.
