Description

Too often in ministry, we get so caught up in doing the work that we fail to consider how the work might be better done…or how we might do new work altogether. When we realize we need ideas, it is often in a harried pursuit of ‘not doing the same old thing’ or realizing ‘what we’re doing isn’t working any longer.’ The pressure to produce a new—and great!—idea quickly actually works against the ideation process, placing a lot of pressure on the people involved to conjure up a genius-level insight with remedial resources. Instead, we need to make time and space for regular ideation so we have deep wells from which to draw.

This curriculum will help you understand best practices for generating new ideas; cultivate a healthy ministry in which ongoing ideation is the norm, not the exception; and evaluate your own ideation patters, looking for new ways to optimize and increase your output of new ideas.
