Experience Retreat: Learn to craft meaningful spiritual experiences in liturgy, missiology, and formation
$799.00
This retreat is reserved for people in Christian ministry.
Wednesday, June 26th | 6pm – Saturday, June 29th | 10am
We live in an experience economy, and the experience most encounter through Church tends to be dogmatic and in decline. This retreat is designed to teach you how to craft meaningful spiritual experiences in liturgy, missiology, and formation. We’ll move freely between the tenets of both theology and design, learning how to apply what we believe about God to space, time, and talent as we apprentice in “sacerdotal design.”

Description
You will learn:
* Why creativity is the essential ingredient in cultivating healthy disciples and vibrant churches.
* How to apply your creativity biblically, meaningfully, and contextually to ensure you deepen peoples’ experience rather than cheapen it.
* The principles of sacerdotal (“priestly”) design, and how these translate in music, aesthetics, preaching, and the arts.
* How to formulate, articulate, and actualize your creative vision for the church.
* How to design spiritual experiences that provide healthy touchstones in the life of a congregation (remember: for as long as they remember it, it still transforms…).
